As I enter my early 20s, I have become increasingly aware of how I am slipping further and further away from my childhood with each passing year.
In getting to know my younger self through journaling, creating art, and reflecting on how I have grown, my inner child has become a guiding compass and a source of motivation to remind me of what I am working for. And, the image of my 5-year-old self that sits on my desk is a gentle reminder of how far I've come and to find joy in the simple things.
This is a personal project dedicated to nurturing and loving my inner child.

My Dad looks so youthful here. Sometimes I struggle with the fact that my parents have given up so much for Louis and me. I just hope I can make them proud and provide them the experiences they deserve.
